Day 1 Chennai (AM)
Arrive & transfer to the hotel. At12.00 hrs Check – in hotel. Evening at leisure for independent activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Chennai (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day Excursion to Mahabalipuram & Dakshinachitra. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Chennai (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning Check – out & proceed for a city tour of Chennai, visiting Bronze Museum, St. Mary’s church, Apaleshwar Temple, Fort Museum & Santhome cathedral & later transfer to the railway station. 12.25 hrs Depart for Trichy (Tiruchirapalli) by 2635 Vaigai express (Daily). (packed lunch).
Trichy (PM): Arrive & transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Trichy (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Srirangam Temple, photostop for Rockfort Temple. (One has to climb 400 steps approx. to reach the Temple, hence from an ariel view of the Temple will be provided from where Photographs can be taken). Afternoon Depart by road for Tanjore (54 kms, 1 hr).
Tanjore (PM) Arrive & transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Tanjore (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Tanjore visiting Art Gallery, Royal Museum & Brihadeeshwara Temple. Afternoon depart by road for Madurai (158 kms/3 hrs).
Madurai (PM) Witness “Aarti” ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Madurai (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Madurai visiting Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayaka Palace & Maramman Tank. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Madurai (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Periyar by car (160 kms, approx 5 hrs). Arrive at Periyar & transfer to the hotel. Evening Boat ride on Lake Periyar(Subject to availability). Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the spice plantation. Afternoon Depart for Kumarakom by road(130 Kms approx 3 hrs)Kumarakom(PM): Arrive and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Kumarakom (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Alleppey by boat passing through the backwaters & villages (approx 2 ½ hrs). Arrive at Alleppey & transfer to Cochin by car (63 kms,1 ½ hrs). Afternoon city tour of Cochin visiting Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace, St. Francis church, Jewish Synagogue Indo Portuguese. Evening Enjoy Kathakali Dance show at a local theatre.(subject to availability).
Kochi(PM): Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Cochin (AM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. At 12.05 hrs depart for Chennai by 9W 3530 (Daily).
Chennai(PM): Arrive & transfer to the hotel of your choice or proceed for onward destination.
