Arrive Cochin airport / railway station & transfer to hotel.
PM - City tour of Old Cochin visiting the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays) - Its a different world of palanquins and heraldry, jewels and rich murals of the kings. Jewish Synagogue (closed on Friday afternoon and Jewish Holidays) – it was built in 1568, the 400 year old synagogue in Cochin is the oldest, the interiors have exquisite hand painted Chinese tiles and Belgian Chandeliers. Jew Street – shop in the cobbled streets of Cochin, St. Francis Church (closed till 1100hrs on Sundays) - The first European church in India. Return to hotel. Overnight at Hotel Abad Atrium / similar.
Day 2 Cochin
AM - Depart Cochin by road for Munnar (approx. 4 hrs). Munnar - Arrive Munnar and transfer to hotel. The hill station is approximately 1600 mts above sea level rich for its Tea Plantations. Overnight at T & U/ similar.
Day 3 Munnar
Today full Day sightseeing covering Matuppetti dam, Indo Swiss Project, Eravikulam national park, Tata Tea Factory. Overnight stay at T & U/ similar.
Day 4 Munnar - Periyar
AM - Depart Munnar by road for Periyar. (Approx 4 hrs). One of the most popular wild life sanctuaries of India spread in 777 sq. kms. Periyar Arrive & Check-in at Hotel.
PM - Boat ride on Lake Periyar to view wildlife. Later visit Kumily, the Spice market. Overnight at Cardamom County/ similar.
Day 5 Periyar - Kumarakom
AM - Depart by road for Kumarakom (approx. 4 hrs). Kumarakom -Arrive & check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy backwater countryside. Overnight at Whispering Palms / similar.
Day 6 Kumarakom
AM - Full day at leisure. View the activities on the banks of the backwaters or lay back and view the nature’s beauty or take an ayurvedic massage. Overnight Whispering Palms / simila
AM - After breakfast drive to Kovalam by surface (approx. 06hrs) to Kovalam.
PM - Arrive & check in at the Hotel. Relax at the beach. Overnight at Uday Samudra/ similar.
Day 8 Kovalam
AM - Full day excursion to Kanniyakumari. Visit Vivekananda Memorial Rock Temple - , Gandhi Mandapam, Kanniyakumari Devi Temple. Enjoy the sunset at Kanniyakumari beach.
PM - Return to Kovalam.
Overnight at Uday Samudra/ similar.
Day 9 Kovalam – Trivandrum - Departure
AM - After breakfast drive to Trivandrum airport or railway station (Approx 2 hrs) for onward journey.
